Dust down those frocks, dig out those sequins and ribbons...
Plans for the first 2010 Whitchurch Festival event are now well underway.

The Carnival Queen Selection evening is to be held in conjunction with the Youth Club at the GILL NETHERCOTT CENTRE on Friday 5th February.

The Carnival Princess and Attendants Selection is planned with a Disco on 6th March at the same venue.

Details are all announced on the 2010 Festival website:

REMINDER that entry forms are now available on the above website and can be filled in and taken along on the day.
There is no need to enter in advance.

There was a record entry for this year's Carnival Queen and Attendant Selection event, held in conjunction with the Chill for This Youth Club at the Gill Nethercott Centre.
Congratulations go to the winners, Joanna and Lauren, who will now go on to be crowned on the Meadow on May 1st.
There is a brief report of the evening on the website:

Remember any event can request attendance by the Carnival Queen - it can add some fun and sense of occasion to an activity.
