After the successful Pub Race, Procession and Meadow, a record payout of around £2000 is being made to local good causes from the 2009 Festival Funds. Presentations are to be made on the evening of Saturday 29th August at the Whitchurch Sports & Social Club. Come along and find out where the funds are going and hear the plans of the recipients, as well as hearing exciting details for some further terrific events. The Presentations are incorporated into the annual WHITSTOCK FESTIVAL so there is plenty of fun, music and local real ale to enjoy, as well as a wide selection of good food. The Club is is going through a renaissance and is fast becoming one of the town's top venues for events.

A great day was held at the Sports and Social Club where, incorporated into the Whitstock Music and Beer Festival, the Festival donations were distributed to the selected Good Causes. A report, and a list of recipients can be found here: WHITCHURCH FESTIVAL
