Forums are like a pub - places for friendly chat, exchange of views and debating the way of the world, and WhitchurchForums were just that.
But nothing beats the real world and we have to move with that.
With the rapid growth of the official Whitchurch Town website and social networking sites, together with a decline in old-style Forum usage it has been decided that it is time to move on.
Whitchurch Forums closed on 31st December 2011.
The decision was not taken lightly but with relatively few active participants the time involved in the maintenance became less worthwhile.
It was with a heavy heart we took this decision as it had been fun running it, and it is hoped that it had been both enjoyable and informative to its users.
Meanwhile the official town website has both a comments facility and a letters section, while the town's Facebook pages are far more active than this Forum ever was and are highly recommended.
We hope you have enjoyed the experience here in our 'virtual pub' as much as we did.
